Lindy Kehoe lives and paints on the majestic Rogue River in southern Oregon. Her work is both magical and alive, revealing ancient stories through her myriad characters. Her illustrations were awarded the silver Nautilus award with her collaboration with Star Hawk in “The Last Wild Witch”. She has been published for six years with the We’Moon Date Calendar. “Still Waters is a Maoli Artist born and raised on Hawai’i Island. She is an artistic activist, who has proudly broken the mold of the “Kona Style”. Her unique brand of Artistic Mysticism is very personal, and deeply rooted in Native Hawaiian lineage and mythos. She expresses this through visual art, dance and live performance. A founding member of L’etheria Performa, a Kona performance art troupe, who have graced the stage with such acts as Kaminanda at The Garden Temple, and Sassmouth at the Palace Theater for the Hawai’i Electronic Music Festival, as well as Sacred Festival, and many other gatherings around the island. She has been trained in the visual arts at The Art Institute of Seattle, and in Hair and Makeup at The Hawaii Institute of Hair Design. She also has an extensive background in dance and theater, ranging from Hula, Kabuki, Butoh, Ballet, and Tribal Belly Dance. Still Waters is larger than life, and attributes this characteristic to being a willing vessel for the source of creation. She is honored to share her passion with a live painting demonstration to assist the awakening of the divine that exists within all.”
