Allowah Lani

Allowah Lani has been a student of philosophy and world spirituality since his early teens, and a Yoga student for the past 15 years. He holds a BA and an MA (in Philosophy and Liberal Arts) from the University of Pennsylvania, and from 1997-2001 did post-graduate work in Kabbalah and Yoga at New York University.  He is registered as an eRYT 200 through Yoga Alliance, and also earned a 300-hour certification through Dr. David Frawley’s American Institute of Vedic Studies. In addition to his formal training, Allowah has studied Yoga with other teachers in India and the U.S., including Sri Karunamayi, David Swenson, Sri Anandi Ma, Ganga White, Tracey Rich, and Dharma Mittra. Maui Yoga with Nadia Toraman

Nadia Toraman moved to Maui in 1991 from California where she studied Yoga with Suki while attending MCC. She left Maui for a period and moved to California to further her studies in Yoga and Dance. Inspired by what she had experienced and learnt on the Mainland, Nadia returned to Maui with the vision of expanding Yoga and Dance on Maui. In 1996 Nadia opened her first studio on the North Shore. As her reputation and business grew, she needed more space and 4 years later moved the Studio to larger premises, employing some of the island’s top yoga and dance teachers. Jason Milne: Tantra Yoga

Jason Milne completed, then taught, the four-year university level Yoga and Meditation Program at Agama Yoga, Thailand, a Yoga Alliance and International Yoga Federation certified school. He completed over 1,500 hours of training in Tantra, Hatha, Kundalini Yoga and Meditation. He holds a Yoga Shiromani Teaching Certificate for completion of a minimum of 900 hours intensive course study in yoga and meditation. Jason was also the manager and lead teacher in two 3-month intensive, 500-hour teacher training courses, while co-teaching in four additional 500-hour teacher training courses. He holds a 500-hour teacher training certificate in Hatha Yoga and a 200-hour teacher training certificate in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in addition to a Master of Education Degree. Rachel Gonzalez

Rachel Gonzalez is the founder & owner of Body Alive. She has been a certified yoga teacher since 2003. She completed her teacher training at Kalani Honua on the Big Island of Hawaii.  Her training is heavily influenced by  Hatha and Ashtanga practices. Rachel was the General Manager of Kalani Honua, a retreat center located in the beautiful jungle of Puna in 2000 when she discovered her love of yoga through the help of her teacher and mentor Kathy Elder. Micahananda – Kundalini Yoga

Micah, or Micahananda, as named by his guru, was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan under the blessing of Yogacharia, one of the last disciples of Paramahansa Yogananda. Yogananda, was one of the key facilitating forces that initiated the migration of the ancient sciences of Yoga to the Western world.  He channeled and developed the science of Krya yoga which, through his disciple Yogacharia, was the initial yogic system that Micah was born into.
